Scroll dry pumps
Vortex pumps generate vacuum through a simple double vortex disc type structure, where one nested vortex disc rotates around the other, creating a space that traps the movement of gases. Gas enters the scroll pump from the periphery and is diverted and compressed to the centre, where it is discharged. The fast and predictable maintenance process significantly reduces service downtime and lowers maintenance costs. Vortex pumps are an ideal alternative to rotary vane pumps where an oil-free pump is required. Agilent IDP sealed scroll dry pumps have fully segregated bearings to provide a quiet, clean, oil-free vacuum. They are ideally suited for analytical instrumentation, cryogenic applications, helium recirculation, freeze-drying and cannabis extraction, and can also be used as a pre-pump for turbomolecular pumps. Agilent TriScroll pumps are reliable and durable vortex pumps that provide high pumping speeds and ultimate vacuum with optional inverters or three-phase motors.TriScroll pumps can be used for leak detection, manufacturing processes, and other industrial applications.
