Scroll dry pumps

Scroll dry pumps

Vortex pumps generate vacuum through a simple double vortex disc type structure, where one nested vortex disc rotates around the other, creating a space that traps the movement of gases. Gas enters the scroll pump from the periphery and is diverted and compressed to the centre, where it is discharged. The fast and predictable maintenance process significantly reduces service downtime and lowers maintenance costs. Vortex pumps are an ideal alternative to rotary vane pumps where an oil-free pump is required. Agilent IDP sealed scroll dry pumps have fully segregated bearings to provide a quiet, clean, oil-free vacuum. They are ideally suited for analytical instrumentation, cryogenic applications, helium recirculation, freeze-drying and cannabis extraction, and can also be used as a pre-pump for turbomolecular pumps. Agilent TriScroll pumps are reliable and durable vortex pumps that provide high pumping speeds and ultimate vacuum with optional inverters or three-phase motors.TriScroll pumps can be used for leak detection, manufacturing processes, and other industrial applications.

Scroll dry pumps Overview

Scroll pumps: clean, high-performance oil-free vacuum pumps
Scroll pumps generate vacuum by means of a simple double scroll disc type structure, whereby one nested scroll disc rotates around the other, creating a space that traps the movement of gases. Gases enter the scroll pump from the periphery and are transferred and compressed to the centre, where they are discharged.

The Agilent TriScroll pump is a reliable and durable scroll pump that delivers high pumping speeds and ultimate vacuum with the option of a frequency converter or three-phase motor. The TriScroll pump can be used for leak detection, manufacturing processes, and other industrial applications.

IDP-3 Scroll Dry Pump
The Agilent IDP-3 scroll dry pump is an innovative, compact, high-performance oil-free vacuum pump for a wide range of applications in the research, analytical instrumentation, and laboratory markets. It is a small scroll dry pump for routine vacuum applications and can be easily integrated into OEM systems.
The Agilent IDP pump has a hermetically sealed design where the motor and all bearings are completely isolated from the vacuum loop. This design extends bearing life and provides a clean, oil-free vacuum. The IDP pump has a single-sided turbine design that can be serviced in less than 15 minutes with a simple tool.

Features:
-Lightweight and compact IDP scroll dry pump.
-Clean, oil-free vacuum loop -No need for tedious maintenance, no risk of contamination
-Sealed design for complete isolation from motor and bearings
-Quiet operation for improved workplace comfort
-Low vibration
-Better ultimate vacuum than diaphragm pumps
-24 VDC motor option to control pumping speed for long life and quick maintenance
-Timer standard on all IDP-3 pumps
-Ideal for GC/MS applications
-Compact size makes it ideal for integration into OEM systems for analytical instrumentation, leak detection, and helium recirculation.

TriScroll 600 Variable Frequency Pump
The Agilent TriScroll 600 variable frequency pump is a scroll dry pump with a pumping speed of 30 m3/h (500 L/min). This pump combines the benefits of variable frequency technology with the proven performance of the Agilent TriScroll vacuum pump.
The TriScroll 600 uses variable frequency technology to provide consistent vacuum performance at all frequencies and input voltages worldwide The TriScroll 600 variable frequency pump avoids the need for frequent maintenance of oil-sealed rotary vane pumps, making it easy to comply with regulatory and environmental requirements, and saves on the cost of disposing of used oil.

Features:
-High pumping speed (30 m3/h, 500 L/min) and low ultimate pressure provide a clean oil-free vacuum.
-constant pumping speed at all power frequencies
-Pump speed is adjustable via RS-232 or 0-10 V control signal, allowing selection of the optimum pumping speed.
-Pump parameters can be monitored via the serial interface
-Standard D-Sub connector provides contact closure for remote start/stop
-Selection of optimal speed reduces noise and vibration levels in the work area with little or no degradation of ultimate vacuum.
-Uses Agilent A-PLUS software
